What’s Been Up: A Quick PSA

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve posted on the blog or YouTube channel and that has mostly been due to me being busy with work, production and slowly writing ideas I have as well. I have also been watching some films and anime (albeit slowly) as binge reading manga on the side.

I created this blog half a decade ago or so to talk about things I love and quickly came up with “The Boredom Killer” name. Unknowing to a lot of people, this name came as a need to kill my own boredom and only along the way did I realize how it might be interpreted by others as a way to cure their boredom. To all the consistent readers of this blog, I thank you, and to those of you who genuinely enjoy it and think it kills or even reduces your boredom rate, I am truly honored and grateful!

It’s been really hard doing all those together and I’ve not been fully functional and creative. My ideas have been extremely clustered or borderline bad and I’m trying to work on that. So think of the content from here on out as a rebirth of sorts. This is hopefully going to be a new age for me as a content creator here as well as for you my super awesome readers.

I’ve been thinking about it a lot and I’ve decided to try and become more active again. As a product of my rekindled spark, I’ll be doing a new series of post with the tag “why I love” and to start it off, I couldn’t think of a better choice than Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece. My aim for the why I love series is to involve as many other writers just as I’ve been doing in recent times to share posts about things they love.

For people who’d like to, listen to my podcast, my music and subscribe to my YouTube , Thank You!

Wreck It Ralph: Ralph Breaks The Internet

Ralph Breaks The Internet is the sequel to Wreck It Ralph which i didn't know i needed. The film starts of six years after the first film with Vanellope and Ralph living their daily lives at the arcade with the only different thing now is the fact that Vanellope is tired of her own game. She wants to get a new exciting experience and so she ’s basically depressed about how repetitive her life is which is basically the struggle of every teenager and yes, she’s pretty much a teenager even though she’s stuck in the age of a child. When Ralph tries to make Vanellope’s game more exciting by creating a driving course, this ultimately leads to the gamer breaking the steering wheel when she can’t control her car due to Vanellnope driving of the controlled course to go to the one Ralph created. Without Cree 1stthe steering wheel, her game gets abandoned and without a game, she has no purpose so Ralph and Vanellope must travel to the internet to get it from E-bay. With such a...

Mowgli:Legend Of The Jungle

Mowgli legend of the jungle is an adaptation of the book "The Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling which inspired the creation of the Disney classic of the same name.  That said Disney classic got the live action treatment sometimes last year and it got praised for it faithfully stating true to the Disney classic and for its incredibly photorealistic CGI.  Mowgli tells the story of the jungle book again but this time, it isn't based on the Disney film but rather the original source material by Rudyard Kipling.  Disney's the jungle book wasn't a straight up faithful adaptation but it managed to stick to major plot points of the book and this film tries to flesh out those plot points by giving all the characters a realistic backstory that doesn't make characters beside the Man Cub feel like they're only there for plot convenience.  I haven't read book by Rudyard Kipling but I know this film is a more faithful adaptation than the Disney film.   Dire...

Who Would Win? Batman Vs Spiderman

Okay before I start I'd like you all to know I am not being partial in any way at all. I had this argument with my friend Andrea a couple of days back and now I feel like sharing on who I think would win,but I realised they are two perspective 1-choosing a winner based on accomplishment 2-choosing a winner based on powers or strengths 1- this perspective is basically saying "oh look at this let's check out both characters accomplishments",they both have taken down a large amount of enemies ranging from smart villains to dumb ones, they've both faced foes that are big and strong. So it's only reasonable to think Batman would win here, not by a long shot though because Spiderman is a force to be reckoned with. Batman has basically done more important things,he has defeated Superman severally, dodged darkseid's omega beams, outsmarted braniac,I mean the man is a bit fluent in kryptonian and he knows several martial art skills and he's just a human......

Sex Education

Sex Education is Netflix's latest addition to their list of unique top notch quality shows. Sex Education is a relevant coming of age show that revolves around teenage sexuality and it's complexities. I feel like most movies or shows that try to tackle subject matter like this end up focusing on glorious sex rather than the very common awkwardness that leads up to it. Sex Education is very raw and authentic, I say this because I relate to it based on the fact that I am a pervert and also a pubescent man-baby.   Sixteen Year Old Otis is an awkward teen living with his mother who happens to be a sex therapist.  Otis's best friend Eric is an openly gay boy in school and he's extremely funny and their friendship is true and strong. When The Headmaster's son who's known for being a big prick both literally and figuratively takes sexual enhancement drugs in order to be able to have great pleasure but he actually takes too much and ends up having an er...
