Army Of The Dead: A Crazy Roller Coaster!

Visionary director, Zack Snyder comes through with a new release following his long awaited director’s cut of 2017’s Justice League. This time (and thanks to Netflix), he has full creative control of the entire film.

Army of the dead was shot, written and directed by Zack himself and is his return to horror, the same genre of his first feature film “Dawn of the Dead”. Army of the dead is an extremely ambitious film with the potential for multiple sequels and spinoffs besides the already announced ones. I’ll try my best to make this a spoiler free review although I make talk or hint about certain things that happen in the film.

The film tells the story of a team of skilled men and women coming together to go to closed off zombie infested Las Vegas to retrieve millions of dollars from a vault before the US government nukes the entire place and its zombie residents. Each member of this team standout and feel like real people with personalities. There’s a lot of present world realism in it. There’s a particular guy here who makes YouTube videos of killing zombies and I feel like that’s such a plausible thing if you consider the internet crazed world we currently live in.

I enjoyed the characters even the zombies (more on them later) because they all had such great moments through out the film with some obviously having more than others. Everybody has a time to shine and the dialogue doesn’t become too serious or comical but instead finds a balance for drama and comedy.

The action is A+, although I never really doubted this because if there’s one thing Zack Snyder is good at, it’s action. They’re so many badass scenes in this with one of my favorites involving a female character earlier on in the film. Although it’s filled with zombies, the city of Las Vegas is alive in this film and really pretty to look at. You can feel the struggle in the city and how it’s been lived in which helps adds urgency to the mission at hand.

Back to Zombies, these ones are literally like none you’ve seen before. They’re refreshing, entertaining and at some points characters you can emphasize for. Zack Snyder added a lot of really cool ideas to zombies with this one and I’d like to talk about one of them which is hibernation. I always found the idea of Zombies being relentless and never tired quite crazy since they’re still in mortal bodies. I like the idea that even if they’re enhanced, they’re also not prone to fatigue. The leader of the zombies played by Richard Cetrone one of my favorite stuntmen and a frequent collaborator of Zack Snyder is exciting, menacing and just freaking lovable to watch if you like cool matured action moments. If you really pay attention there’s also a really cool theory within the film that could make things way way way more interesting.

For an action horror-ish film entry, Army of the Dead has a lot of heart and manages to make you care and feel for the characters in it. There’s a lot of emotional moments here and my favorite part is how they don’t slow down the story in anyway. Some of these scenes are shocking especially one in particular but it made sense for the story being told. Somethings annoyed me especially from a particular character but I can’t fault it as a problem with the film because that’s just who the character is.

As a big fan of Snyder, I can easily this film is exciting and enjoyable from start to finish with great performances from the entire cast and should be enjoyable to anybody looking to have a good time this weekend. TECH VIEW: TRYING OUT FACIAL UNLOCK WITH WINDOWS HELLO (WITH VIDEO)

So, Just in case you don't know, Windows Hello is a more personal way to sign in to your Windows 10 devices with just a look or a touch. You'll get enterprise-grade security without having to type in a password. ... Under Windows Hello , you'll see options for face, fingerprint, or iris if your PC has a fingerprint reader or a camera that supports it. So basically it's a feature that support biometric unlock(Fingerprint, Facial recognition or Iris scanner) depending on which one your Windows device has. For this video, I used a HP Spectre which supports Facial recognition with it's dual IR Cameras. And I got to admit, facial recognition is just cool, immediately you come in front of the system facing it it unlocks in less than a sec. That being said, this doesn't mean they aren't a few disadvantages and I'll just mention just one. Like unlocking your PC when you don't want to unlock it(unintentionally). That being said, it's still ...

Ant-man and The Wasp(2018)

For me,one of the MCU films that stands out and is genuinely funny is the first Ant-man. So when I heard about the sequel I was happy,Ant-man didn't try to be a masterpiece or anything it was just a relatable superhero movie that had very cool characters and a wannabe Obadiah Stane villain.   I like checking out reviews of movies before I see them and also like getting in depth analysis from my favorite youtubers like Jeremy Jahns just so I can have an idea of what am going into. And so from what reviewers were saying it seemed like this was a bad movie and that it was pointless one YouTube reviewer who I love even went on to sat Michelle Pfeiffer was confused and didn't know what she was doing in the damn film. Fast forward to me seeing the film,I finally got to make an opinion of my own and kind of see where some reasonable people were coming from. I mean there's a lot of confusing stuff here that doesn't hold up with the continuity such as Ghost's b...
