INFINITY WAR(2018):REVIEW

For ten years we've waited for the ultimate showdown between Thanos and the Avengers and we finally got it and I must say it was quite impressive!. I won't mention flaws or anything like that I just want to talk about the film and how good it was.
Infinity War was made with care and much thought went into it's production and this showed. The film itself takes place only moments from the Ragnarok end credit scene. Just like we were promised,Thanos showed just how strong he was within the first five minutes of the film.

I was very impressed with how it balanced humour and seriousness. Some moments were a bit "too funny" but those moments are from characters who are known to be funny generally. I didn't like Thor Ragnarok because I felt like it changed Thor's character but this film brings him back to his Good Old Awesome self and all the consequences from Ragnarok that weren't mentioned were heavily referenced here which proved that Feige and the Russos's Taika messed things up(yes I said it).

The story line was simple and worked well for the most part and all the characters meeting made sense and their interactions were very organic but that wasn't the best part of infinity war. The best part of infinity war was the purple titan himself,THANOS!!!!!!.

I started a new paragraph for just Thanos so you should know what that means right?. Thanos was phenomenal, incredible, amazing, crazy, strong, powerful and intelligent and guess the best part, his story was empathetic and you could feel all his emotions. He wasn't just a BIG bad,he was a big bad with layers and emotions. If I go further and make a post about spoilers, it'll negate a couple of things I said here because like I mentioned,I won't mention flaws on this post.

Thanos is the main star of this film, every scene with him is purposeful and shows you just a little more about the "mad titan" which makes you go from "I hate this guy" to "maybe I don't completely hate him". Thanos is compelling and carries this gigantic presence in every scene he's in and it's not short of amazing. They are certain decisions he makes that truly define the character that he is and cements him as one of the greatest villains in superhero movie history.

The Avengers and Guardians in this film all had their moments but a lot of them were left out from doing anything lasting. Most of the people I expected to see do crazy things didn't and a lot were absent for the major things. The Guardians,Thor,Spider-Man,Iron Man and Doctor Strange are definitely this film's highlight characters for me(Thor Especially) they did great and their interactions where the most enjoyable.

Stakes were definitely in this film, scary things happened. I personally feel like the deaths that happened half way through this film than the deaths that happened towards the end although Twitter MCU fans disagree. Who knows?,why don't you guys share your own opinions.

This film was fast but fast enough to carry you along with it,only a few moments felt drawn out and some characters felt greatly underpowered and some felt overpowered. Certain new characters were too over the top and a familiar face appears that fans have been wanting to see for a long time.

In conclusion,as a DC fan I enjoyed this greatly...it didn't have the normal repetitive formula,it tried to be different and it was! If more marvel films roll out like this I'll become a massive fan of their work. They did a great job, solid 9 for just how they managed to put everything together and 7.5 for overall due to other factors that I will talk about in a couple of days(a week at most).  Did you like this review?

Ōkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (Wolf Children)

Anime is one of the best mediums of story telling in recent years. It's diverse and offers a wide variety of genres, from comedy, action, thriller and romance. Most popular series are usually fast paced, exaggerated and action packed but, pretty much all the amazing anime films are usually grounded, slow and visually phenomenal and these are qualities this film taps into.                        Ōkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (Wolf Children) is honestly what great movies are all about. I remember seeing the trailer a few months back and I was so interested in seeing how it would play out, while I knew I was going to be in for an emotional roller coaster, I didn't quite expect it to start within the first thirty minutes of the film's screen time.                    The film's premise from the trailer was pretty simple, a young optimistic female college student called Hana falls for...

Who Would Win? Batman Vs Spiderman

Okay before I start I'd like you all to know I am not being partial in any way at all. I had this argument with my friend Andrea a couple of days back and now I feel like sharing on who I think would win,but I realised they are two perspective 1-choosing a winner based on accomplishment 2-choosing a winner based on powers or strengths 1- this perspective is basically saying "oh look at this let's check out both characters accomplishments",they both have taken down a large amount of enemies ranging from smart villains to dumb ones, they've both faced foes that are big and strong. So it's only reasonable to think Batman would win here, not by a long shot though because Spiderman is a force to be reckoned with. Batman has basically done more important things,he has defeated Superman severally, dodged darkseid's omega beams, outsmarted braniac,I mean the man is a bit fluent in kryptonian and he knows several martial art skills and he's just a human......

IT(2017):Lazy Review

I've been stuck thinking about what to post and I got nothing. But I remembered that I watched "IT" late December and I wasn't scared surprisingly. I mean, they were a couple of jump scares but overall nothing really scared me. It was a fun movie though and I see why it got a sequel announced and universal praise. It's based of the first chapter of the Stephen King novel of the same name and I have read a couple of pages from  the book but I haven't finished it because I'm lazy and I procrastinate a lot(I haven't still finished reading a song of ice and fire).   Set in the '90-somethings(I'm lazy don't eat me) in a town of something, something(I know, you're disappointed) a series of kids get missing and the adults of the town act like nothing's happening. Bill Denbrough(that's right,I remembered his name) looses his brother as well. Billy and other kids in the town(including his friends) start to see th...
