IT(2017):Lazy Review

I've been stuck thinking about what to post and I got nothing. But I remembered that I watched "IT" late December and I wasn't scared surprisingly. I mean, they were a couple of jump scares but overall nothing really scared me. It was a fun movie though and I see why it got a sequel announced and universal praise.

It's based of the first chapter of the Stephen King novel of the same name and I have read a couple of pages from  the book but I haven't finished it because I'm lazy and I procrastinate a lot(I haven't still finished reading a song of ice and fire).

Set in the '90-somethings(I'm lazy don't eat me) in a town of something, something(I know, you're disappointed) a series of kids get missing and the adults of the town act like nothing's happening.

Bill Denbrough(that's right,I remembered his name) looses his brother as well. Billy and other kids in the town(including his friends) start to see their fears appear in front of them and it turns out it's all because of the creepy, scary and powerful clown Pennywise("IT")  who can conjure up scary illusions but gets beaten by the kids using stuff like a baseball bat for some weird reason.

The actors are great in this and I think one of the reasons is because Hollywood actually allowed Kids to play Kids and not brooding 23 year olds pretending to be 15-ish. Everybody in this flick brought their A-game and it's one of the reasons why the film works out so well. All the actors kill it in comedy scenes as well as the dramatic "scary" ones. Pennywise is actually a pretty funny clown and I liked him for the most part.

If you're a big fan of stranger things and you can't wait for season 3 I think this can be your 2hour plus fix for the mean time but,if you haven't seen stranger things and you like movies set in the past with great characters that also happens to be horror, then you should still watch it. It has very entertaining and amusing character interactions and dynamics. The kid actors do great especially the guy who plays Mike from stranger things,Finn Wolfhard. I'm sorry for being so lazy and not posting regularly, I really am.

IT is an entertaining  ride with great characters, great music and an enjoyable villain,Bill Skarsgård kills it(no pun intended) as Pennywise the friendly neighbour hood child abuser/serial killer. At the end of the day,IT is a very good film that will keep your eyes glued to the end because of it's Fun Characters and good story so check it out if you haven't already,I'll assume a lot of you have because it's been out for quite sometime now.

I seriously don't know what to post about anymore I think there's something wrong with me. If you have any recommendations, you can hit me up on social media(top right) and I'll try my best to post what you want me to post!. Also, big thanks to all of you for sharing my blog to your family and friends,it means a lot. And I know I'm lazy, annoying and not the best writer but I love making these posts so I'll try to be better!!!.

I Truly Loved Wonder Woman 1984: An Honest Review

Wonder Woman 1984 is the sequel to 2017's Wonder Woman with Gal Gadot, Chris Pine and Patty Jenkins all returning in their respective duties with the first two as actors and Patty as the director once again.   Wonder Woman 1984 has only been out for a few days and within that time has been destroyed critically with people (including a couple of my friends) downright calling it horrible and a strong contender for worst movie of the year. While I'm not one to be swayed by the popular opinion of most critic reviews, seeing a couple of people whose tastes I respect speak ill of the film honestly made me scared and so I avoided watching it until today when I decided that I had to be brave and face my fear!   As seen by the trailers and  other promotional materials, Wonder Woman 1984 is set in the 80's, specifically, 1984, the film has the classic retro feel to it and unapologetically embraces it. Please note that while I will not be spoiling anything major, I may ...

Ōkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (Wolf Children)

Anime is one of the best mediums of story telling in recent years. It's diverse and offers a wide variety of genres, from comedy, action, thriller and romance. Most popular series are usually fast paced, exaggerated and action packed but, pretty much all the amazing anime films are usually grounded, slow and visually phenomenal and these are qualities this film taps into.                        Ōkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (Wolf Children) is honestly what great movies are all about. I remember seeing the trailer a few months back and I was so interested in seeing how it would play out, while I knew I was going to be in for an emotional roller coaster, I didn't quite expect it to start within the first thirty minutes of the film's screen time.                    The film's premise from the trailer was pretty simple, a young optimistic female college student called Hana falls for...

Severance: An Unforgettable Thriller

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you didn't remember the stress of your workplace when you get home? From the mind of Dan Erickson, directed by Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle, Severance offers an answer to the aforementioned question and pushes the limit by asking " when your consciousness is spilt into two, which one is the real you? " The series follows a severed employee at Lumon, Mark who has recently been promoted to the Head of Microdata and Refinement Department after the sudden resignation of his boss and the recruitment of a new employee, Helly Riggs. Plot Severance has a unique plot, while the execution of a series without a definite blueprint can prove difficult, it does not fall into this hole. The series answers (almost)all the questions it poses in the first few episodes but ends on a note that will leave you spiraling and brimming with inquisitiveness.  Characters For every character, we follow two distinct ...
