Why The New Fox-Disney Deal Is Bad!!!

   Now that it's no longer popular, I have decided to finally voice my opinion on the multi billion dollar merger.  So Disney's plan for world domination is finally happening, yay! I'm totally not scared about this,I'm sooooo happy Yipee!. I hate the fact that this happening because it's good money for Disney (obviously) but it'll suck if you're not a fan of too much corny comedy and dumb character changes. If Disney acquired rights to their marvel properties back it'd have been bearable but even that would still suck now because the fox films are really doing well(Deadpool) now.
  Here are some reasons why that would suck;

•JOKES
Each time someone tells me ragnarok is funny

     The MCU is the perfect example of how Disney loves jokes a lot,Ragnarok is the biggest example of that. Till this day I still don't understand how people call that film a masterpiece because it was just about turning established characters like Thor,Loki and even Odin to improvised comedians. Now imagine that happening to Wolverine or imagine Deadpool's matured jokes being turned to PG13 because they want to incorporate him into their MCU. I can see it now, captain america telling deadpool "language please!".

•Teenage X-Men and Fantastic Four
Me when someone says marvel films are comic accurate but bash DC films

    Remember how Homecoming was turned into a high school comedy? And how Peter Parker was turned into a kid who wanted to " make tony proud" while being stuck under rubble instead of his very own Uncle Ben? Get ready for more of that!. We'll probably get a twelve year old Proffesor X because you know mutants aren't established in their universe and they'll probably find a way to shoehorn them in by the time Avengers 4 is over.
Me each time time marvel makes character changes

 Did you hate Fan4stic(2015)? Get ready for a possibly more stupid version with Asian Reed Richards and a modern version of the thing called "the thang" you know because Disney likes to represent all ethnicities and be "political correct". But,do you know the difference between Disney's potential X-men and FF movies And the one's that are already out? You don't know? Well,Disney's will have a 200% on Rotten Tomatoes because "critics" will praise them.

  Now those are just possible things they could do the fox marvel properties,imagine what they'd do to other fox properties. Let's take a look at possible movies Disney might make;

• Home Alone Prequel
Kevin doesn't like this

       Have you ever wondered before Kevin McAllister was born? No? Well you'll probably get it and the marketing for the movie would be something like this- "Before Kevin McAllister, There was Mr McAllister. Find out the untold story".

•Why We Hate The Dragons
Hiccup and toothless are not buying it

      We'll probably get this too,I don't know if the how to train your dragon franchise is going to go to Disney too but if it is. We'll get this,a one hour thirty - something pointless movie about life in Berk before the dragons. And the Disney execs will be like " it's a brand new idea,we were thinking about how we could make something the fans love and still be original. You know?,it's not a cash grab,we're making this movie for the fans".

•The Simpsons 2

   Now this might not be a bad idea because even though the show isn't as funny as it used to be, a new movie could make things work. But,it won't be fun when Disney decides to put in references to their new star wars movies and MCU universe with possible guest stars from Mark Hamill to Robert Downey Jnr. I think am reaching here but I have to,I need to get my point across.

  Now let's go to the TV department;

•Gotham
Even Jerome doesn't like this

     Do you like Gotham? Well that'll probably get canceled because technically it's not fox owned and Disney won't want to promote anything that isn't made by them. So no more Oswald,Nygma,Bruce,Selina and Gordon.

•The Gifted

     Do you like how good the gifted is and how it's a great depiction of discrimination but it's also a super hero show?well since it'll have to join the MCU too,we won't get that anymore. Instead we'll get monologues like "I have to tell you something, my dad worked in stark industries during the captain america super soldier program". You know,all those dumb references the brilliant Netflix series make to try and convince you into thinking they're all connected.

•Legion
David wants out!

    I can't even possibly imagine what they'll do to the unique story about David and the shadow king.

    So that's how I feel,it is my opinion and I didn't post about this since because I wanted the news to die down so I could get time to really think about what it means for the future of entertainment and I have come to an answer....it's not good. Those of you who really love the MCU might like this so please don't let it change your enthusiasm for a funny " Dr Doom" movie.

   If you liked this post,don't forget to share with friends and follow my pages on social media. And if you don't like it...do the same thing! Gracias!

IT(2017):Lazy Review

  I've been stuck thinking about what to post and I got nothing. But I remembered that I watched "IT" late December and I wasn't scared surprisingly. I mean,they were a couple of jump scares but overall nothing really scared me. It was a fun movie though and I see why it got a sequel announced and universal praise. It's based of the first chapter of the Stephen King novel of the same name and I have read a couple of pages from  the book but I haven't finished it because I'm lazy and I procrastinate a lot(I haven't still finished reading a song of ice and fire).   Set in the '90-somethings(I'm lazy don't eat me) in a town of something,something(I know,you're disappointed) a series of kids get missing and the adults of the town act like nothing's happening. Bill Denbrough(that's right,I remembered his name) looses his brother as well. Billy and other kids in the town(including his friends) start to see th...

Why I Love: One Piece

      Last year was quite a hard time for me, it was my final year at the university and for what  felt like the first time in my life, I was truly struggling with school. Not the “oh I’m scared I might not do well” but I was genuinely doing bad. This wasn’t because I wasn’t reading or not putting in the work, it was just because I was given a terrible lecturer as a supervisor. I used to think I had a good relationship with him but during the course of the second semester I began to see a shift in his personality and obvious hate towards me. As someone who struggles with insecurities, I was constantly insulted and ridiculed for no real reasons and even though I knew what he said about me wasn’t true,  I was still hurt. Hurt not just because of how he made me feel bad but hurt because the idea of failing and disappointing my parents and family in general was killing me on the inside and I had no means to express how trapped I felt. You’re probably wondering, “Why...

Samurai Champloo: Why Is It So Good?

   In the year 2005, the anime community had one of their gems; Samurai Champloo come out. Its well written and set in an extremely lively version of old school (Edo) japan. Its storyline is simple, two extremely skilled yet very different swordsmen Mugen and Jin have fate bring them across a young outspoken lady Fuu who helps them out of a tough spot and insist on them accompany her to find the very vaguely named “samurai who smells of sunflowers”. This serves as the catalyst that carries us on a well voiced, animated, and extremely stylistic adventure across japan towards the course of its 20 plus episode run. Here are some of the reasons I think Samurai Champloo is so enjoyable   1. TONE AND SETTING: One of the reasons it works so well is that even with its fictional story, its grounded in reality without being overly dramatic or serious. Most films, shows and games based off old eras like this usually take themselves super serious and in the process turn out being bla...

Severance: An Unforgettable Thriller

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you didn't remember the stress of your workplace when you get home? From the mind of Dan Erickson, directed by Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle, Severance offers an answer to the aforementioned question and pushes the limit by asking " when your consciousness is spilt into two, which one is the real you? " The series follows a severed employee at Lumon, Mark who has recently been promoted to the Head of Microdata and Refinement Department after the sudden resignation of his boss and the recruitment of a new employee, Helly Riggs. Plot Severance has a unique plot, while the execution of a series without a definite blueprint can prove difficult, it does not fall into this hole. The series answers (almost)all the questions it poses in the first few episodes but ends on a note that will leave you spiraling and brimming with inquisitiveness.  Characters For every character, we follow two distinct ...
